Meet Robert Cooper
As an Investment Adviser Representative with Robert Cooper & Associates, Inc., Robert Cooper is focused on helping clients work toward their retirement dreams through a well-thought-out strategy for retirement income.
Robert entered the financial services industry in 1989 and founded his company four years later. Focusing his career on retirement planning, 401(k) rollover, asset protection and long-term care, Robert enjoys leading a team of professionals to help others receive the dedicated care they deserve when planning for and living out their financial futures.
In addition to being an Investment Adviser Representative, Robert is a Registered Financial Consultant and a Chartered Retirement Planning Consultant. He holds his North Carolina life and health insurance licenses and has passed his Series 65 securities exam. He is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Kernersville Chamber of Commerce and the International Association of Financial Consultants. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Catawba College.
Robert writes a monthly financial advice column in Kernersville Magazine called “Financial Focus with Robert.” He is also often called upon by members of the media to gain insight into the industry. He has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and Wall Street Select.
Robert and his wife, Belinda, reside in Colfax with the ruler of the house: their Maltese. They have two grown children, Amanda and James. In his spare time, Robert enjoys running, volunteering at church and keeping up with his coin-collecting hobby.
Lou Blackman is the office manager of Robert Cooper & Associates, Inc., overseeing the firm’s daily operations. He has nearly three decades of experience working in the insurance and finance industry. He has two sons and is an avid Carolina Panthers fan.
Amanda Smith joined Robert Cooper & Associates three years ago as the creative marketing director. She enjoys reading, coffee and supporting the Boston Red Sox.
Belinda Cooper is the administrator at Robert Cooper & Associates and has almost 30 years’ experience working in the insurance industry. She is a huge fan of Law & Order: SVU and taking trips to the beach.
